Trios

The Trios optical spectrophotometer are developed by Trios, Germany. These spectrometers utilise UV light to analyse parameters such as nitrate-nitrogen and total suspended solids. These spectrometers are used within our real time water quality trailers and within the office for in-house cost effective analysis of water samples.

There are numerous available optical sensors that have the ability to measure different parameters, however BBIFMAC utilises the Trios OPUS sensor due to its accuracy in surface water monitoring applications.
